About Discarded.AI
AI companies publish principles, make commitments, and issue statements about how seriously they take safety and responsibility. I track whether any of it holds up.
Discarded.AI documents the gap between what AI companies say and what they actually do - the decisions made, the commitments walked back, the governance that exists on paper and nowhere else. It is a running record, built from primary sources.
I’m Alan Robertson. I work in responsible AI and regulatory risk. My background is in governance frameworks, audit controls and assurance across global financial services. I write from inside institutions, not from the outside looking in.
Every piece here is grounded in evidence. If I make a claim about what a company said or did, the source is there.
